- Academic Standing: You must not have spent more than two academic sessions at your current university.
- Departmental Quota: The total number of transfer admissions will not exceed 4% of the departmental quota for the year.
- JAMB Requirements: You must meet or exceed the UNN admission cut-off for your intended course in the year of entry.
- Transfer Restrictions: Transfers are only allowed for the same course you are currently studying, and you must not be beyond the second year of your programme.
- Document Verification: Your transcript will be verified by UNN officials or online methods. Any irregularities will result in immediate withdrawal from the programme.
- Currently Enrolled: Applicants must be enrolled in the university from which they wish to transfer.
How to Apply: Step-by-Step Guide
- Visit the UNN Website: Start by visiting the official UNN website or UNN portal.
- Create an Invoice: Log in with your phone number to generate a payment invoice.
- Pay Application Fee: Pay the application fee of ₦300,000 through the Remita platform, which is accessible at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.
- Complete the Application Form: Use your Remita invoice number to complete the online application form.
- Submit Required Documents: Print the completed form and submit it to the Registry (Admissions) office, along with:
- A copy of your O-Level results.
- A valid WAEC/NECO result checker (scratch card).
- Registrar’s Endorsement: Send the last page of the transfer form to the Registrar of your current university for completion. Ensure your current university’s Registrar sends your transcript and completed release form directly to UNN.

- Application Deadline: 31st January 2025
