UNIZIK Seeks Qualified Candidates for Provost, College of Postgraduate Studies
Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka is inviting applications for the prestigious role of Provost for its College of Postgraduate Studies. The vacancy will take effect on March 30, 2025, with the university’s Vice-Chancellor encouraging qualified candidates to apply.
About the College of Postgraduate Studies
The College of Postgraduate Studies at UNIZIK is responsible for the planning, supervision, and coordination of all postgraduate programs. With the authority granted by the University Senate, the College plays a crucial role in maintaining academic excellence and advancing research at the institution.
Key Responsibilities of the Provost
The Provost will:
- Oversee postgraduate training, research, and education at the university.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the College of Postgraduate Studies.
- Report directly to the Vice-Chancellor and collaborate with the College Board.
Qualifications and Requirements
Interested candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Be a Professor with a strong academic track record.
- Demonstrate active involvement in research.
- Have significant experience in postgraduate academic administration.

- A detailed, signed, and dated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
