FUOTUOKE Schedules 2nd Combined Convocation Ceremony for December 2025
Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE), Bayelsa State, has officially announced the schedule for its 2nd Combined Convocation Ceremony, set to take place from Monday, 8 December to Friday, 12 December 2025. The week-long event will celebrate the academic achievements of the University’s graduates while offering a blend of professional, cultural, and social activities.
Graduates, parents, alumni, and members of the public are invited to witness the award of Bachelor’s and Postgraduate Degrees, and to engage in various convocation events designed to showcase FUOTUOKE’s academic excellence and community spirit.
Programme of Events:
Days 1–3: Pre-Convocation Activities
- Monday, 8 December 2025: Press briefing by the Vice-Chancellor; commissioning of completed projects.
- Tuesday, 9 December 2025: Special Meeting of Congregation; Special Meeting of Senate.
- Wednesday, 10 December 2025: Novelty football match for staff and students.
Day 4 – Thursday, 11 December 2025: Side Events
- Installation of the Chancellor
- Exhibition showcasing research and creative works
- Admission into Professional Bodies
- Admission into FUOTUOKE Alumni Association
- Convocation Play
- Convocation Lecture
