Ahmadu Bello University Urges Candidates to Complete 2025/2026 Admission Steps Before Deadline
The management of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has issued a crucial notice to all candidates awaiting the 2025/2026 admission list, urging them to act swiftly to secure their spots before the October 31, 2025 deadline.
According to the update, all students who have received admission offers must accept their admission and print their JAMB admission letters immediately via the JAMB CAPS portal.
Incomplete Admission? Upload Your O’Level Results Now
The university revealed that several candidates recommended by their faculties have yet to upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal — a mandatory step for completing the admission process.
Until this upload is completed, such admissions remain incomplete and unconfirmed.
Affected candidates are advised to visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre to upload their results immediately to avoid forfeiting their admission offers.
Admission Closing Date and Deadline
In line with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) policy for the 2025 academic session, ABU’s admission exercise officially closes on October 31, 2025.
Candidates who are yet to receive offers, especially those applying for highly competitive courses, are advised to consider other available programmes to improve their admission chances.
