SAZU Admission List 2025/2026: Screening Dates, Requirements, and Next Steps for Freshers

The wait is finally over for candidates who secured admission into Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Gadau. Congratulations are in order, but before you pop the champagne, there’s one more crucial step — the physical screening exercise. This process confirms your admission and ensures you’re fully recognized as a SAZU student.

Screening Dates and Venues

  • Start Date: Monday, September 8, 2025
  • End Date: Monday, September 22, 2025
  • Venue: Report to the SAZU campus where your department is located. (No need to visit another campus — screening is strictly departmental.)

Important: If your name isn’t on the official SAZU admission list, do not attempt to appear for screening. First confirm your status online before making the trip.

Mandatory Documents for Screening

Officials will carefully cross-check your credentials, so ensure you go fully prepared with the following:

  1. A printout of your O’Level (WAEC/NECO) result
  2. Your JAMB original result slip (from JAMB portal)
  3. The SAZU online screening form you previously completed
  4. One recent passport photograph (not an old one)
  5. A valid WAEC or NECO scratch card for verification

Key Reminder: Your O’Level results must be uploaded to the JAMB portal before reporting for screening. Candidates who fail to do this at a JAMB-accredited centre will not be cleared.

After Screening – What Comes Next?

If your documents are verified successfully:

  • Wait 1–3 days for confirmation
  • Log into the JAMB CAPS portal
  • Click “Accept Admission” (if you haven’t already)
  • Print your JAMB admission letter

Note: Admission is not complete until you accept it on JAMB CAPS. Without this step, your access to SAZU’s student portal remains blocked.

Final Advice for Freshers

This screening is the final seal on your admission. Missing it or arriving unprepared could put your admission at risk.

  • Gather all documents ahead of time
  • Arrive early at your department
  • Don’t wait until the last day to complete your screening
  • When in doubt, ask questions — it’s better to confirm than to make costly mistakes

University life is calling. Answer it the right way by starting strong.
