If you’re preparing for JAMB 2026/2027 admission deadlines, this is the right time to understand what’s coming next. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released crucial information about admission timelines, and several universities—including the Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA)—have expanded their course offerings. Whether you’re a UTME candidate or considering which university to attend, knowing these deadlines will help you stay ahead.

Understanding JAMB 2026/2027 Admission Deadlines

The Federal Government has announced a harmonized examination timetable for 2027, which directly affects your admission journey. According to the official release, JAMB-UTME will take place from 15th to 25th March 2027, with results expected in March 2027. This timeline is critical—it determines when admissions processing begins and when universities finalize their selection.

Furthermore, JAMB has granted tertiary institutions access to the CAPS (Central Admissions Processing System) portal for 2026/2027 admissions. This means universities can now process applications and admit qualified candidates through the centralized system. Therefore, you must monitor your JAMB CAPS account closely and ensure your O’Level results are uploaded correctly.
