100% JAMB, 0% Stress: IAUE Kicks Off 2025 Post-UTME Screening

The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has officially released guidelines for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise — and this year, it’s taking a hybrid route that skips the usual written test frenzy.

Whether you’re chasing your first admission or switching via Direct Entry, here’s everything you need to know to stay ahead — and avoid mistakes that could cost you a spot.

New Format, Less Stress: No Exam Required

If you selected IAUE as your first-choice institution in JAMB, breathe easy. This year’s screening will not include any test or CBT exam. Instead, your JAMB score will carry 100% weight in the admission decision. That means your UTME result is your golden ticket — as long as your documents check out.

“No exam needed — just show up with the right documents and the right attitude,” IAUE emphasized.

Key Dates and Venue

  • Screening Window: Monday, August 18 – Tuesday, August 26, 2025
  • Venue: ICT Centre, IAUE Rumuolumeni Campus, Port Harcourt
  • Time: 8:00 AM daily

What Happens at the Screening?

Candidates will undergo a hybrid physical screening — a combination of digital checks and face-to-face validation. Here’s what IAUE will verify:

  • O’level and A’level results
  • Biometric validation (you must be present physically)
  • Data cross-checking and ranking

Important for DE candidates: Your uploaded credentials will be used, but make sure they’re verified through NIPEDS (Nigerian Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System). Unverified results could delay your process.

Watch Your Email Like a Hawk

IAUE will send a personalized screening invitation to each candidate’s registered email. This includes your exact date, time, and venue, as well as a list of documents to bring.

Used someone else’s email to register? Retrieve access immediately or you may miss your invite.

Documents to Bring for Screening

Come prepared. IAUE made it clear: no documents, no screening. Here’s your checklist:

  • JAMB Result Slip
  • O’level Result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
  • IAUE Post-UTME Registration Slip
  • Printout of Screening Invitation (from your email)
  • For DE Candidates Only: Original A’level Result (NCE, ND, JUPEB, IJMB, etc.)
  • Smart appearance — clean clothes, no wild hairstyles, and respectful conduct

“One wrong move, and your file could go straight to the bottom of the pile.”

For Candidates with Awaiting Results

Still waiting for your WAEC or NECO results? No need to panic. You’re still eligible. Here’s what to do:

  • Upload your result immediately after release
  • Visit the IAUE Admissions Unit physically for your screening
  • Applies to both UTME and DE applicants

Stay Updated — Avoid Fake News

IAUE warns all candidates to regularly check:

  • The official school website
  • Verified social media handles

Don’t trust unverified WhatsApp groups or random DMs claiming to offer help. The school won’t be responsible if you fall for scams.

Also, double-check your contact details. If your email or phone number is inactive, you may miss critical updates — and that’s on you.
