Adamawa State College of Nursing Sciences Opens 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening
The Adamawa State College of Nursing Sciences, Yola has officially opened its Post-UTME screening for the 2025/2026 academic session, inviting qualified candidates to apply for admission into its ND and HND Nursing programmes.
Whether you’re a fresh secondary school graduate or a practicing nurse seeking to upgrade, here’s everything you need to know to secure your spot.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for the screening exercise, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Scored 150 or above in the 2025 UTME
- Chose Adamawa State College of Nursing as first choice or have changed to it via the JAMB portal
- Must be at least 16 years old by 1st September 2025
For Return-Basic Nursing, Midwifery, or Post-Basic Nursing applicants, you must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
Required O’Level Subjects
Applicants must have five (5) O’Level credits (in not more than two sittings) in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
Note: You can combine WAEC and NECO, but NABTEB cannot be combined with other exam bodies.
How to Apply
Follow these steps carefully to avoid disqualification:
- Visit the official College of Nursing Application Portal
- On Remita, generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR)
- Pay the ₦20,000 application fee at any bank using your RRR
- Return to the portal and complete the online application form
- Upload all required documents and print three copies of your completed application
- Present the forms and payment slip at the college to collect your Examination Screening Card
Important Dates to Remember
Aptitude Test: 8th September 2025
Oral Interview & Screening: 15th to 20th September 2025
No late screenings will be entertained. Missing the dates means forfeiting your chance.
