Post-UTME 2025: Federal Polytechnic Ugep Opens Admission Portal
The Federal Polytechnic, Ugep has officially begun its Post-UTME screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you’re a JAMB candidate eyeing admission into a reputable polytechnic, this could be your chance.
Here’s all the essential info you need to stay ahead and submit your application before the deadline.
Application Window
The screening portal opens Monday, July 14, 2025, and closes on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. No extensions will be granted, so apply early.
Available National Diploma (ND) Programmes
Federal Polytechnic Ugep is offering ND admission into the following accredited programmes:
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Statistics
- Architectural Technology
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Library and Information Science
- Accountancy
- Business Administration
- Hospitality and Tourism
- Public Administration
Hostel accommodation is available for both male and female students.
Who is Eligible?
To qualify for the Post-UTME screening, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025
- Have participated in the 2025 UTME
- Score a minimum of 100 in your UTME
- Upload your O’Level results on JAMB CAPS
- Choose Federal Polytechnic Ugep as your first choice
Didn’t select Ugep initially? No worries. You can still apply by changing your institution on the JAMB portal before the deadline.
How Screening Will Be Done
No written exam is required. Your O’Level results and JAMB profile will be used for screening.
Important:
If your O’Level result is not uploaded on JAMB CAPS, your application won’t be processed. Ensure it’s uploaded correctly.
How to Apply
- Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000
- Use Remita with GIFMIS code: 0517018031 or pay at the school’s bursary department
- Ensure you meet all course requirements:
- At least five (5) credits in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics
- Complete and submit your application before September 30, 2025
