ABU Zaria Sets Date for 2024/2025 Postgraduate Matriculation
Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria has officially announced the schedule for its postgraduate matriculation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session.
If you’re a newly admitted postgraduate student at ABU, this is your official welcome to the community—and you must be there!
Ceremony Details
Date: Wednesday, 16th July 2025
Time: 9:00 AM sharp
Venue: Postgraduate College Auditorium, Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria
ABU is pulling out the academic red carpet to welcome all fresh postgraduate students from every department into the university community.
Attendance is Not Optional
All newly admitted postgraduate students must attend the matriculation ceremony. No excuses. You are required to:
- Be seated before the ceremony starts
- Wear the official academic gown
- Take the matriculation oath
Failure to participate may have implications on your studentship status.
How to Collect Your Academic Gown & Oath Form
To participate fully, students are expected to:
- Pay ₦3,000 at the Postgraduate College Cash Office
- Head to Room B9 in the Postgraduate College
- Collect:
- The academic gown
- Your matriculation oath form
