Delta State Government Announces Bursary for Students: Here’s How to Apply

  2. National Identification: You must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
  3. Full-Time Enrollment: You must be a full-time student in an accredited university, polytechnic, monotechnic, or college. Part-time students are not eligible.
  4. Program Level: Students in postgraduate programs (PGD, master’s, or PhD) are not eligible. You must be in the second year or higher (ND II, HND II, NCE II-III).
  5. Minimum CGPA: Your CGPA must be at least 2.20 from the previous academic year.
  6. Bank Account: You need to have a bank account with an institution approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

How to Apply for the Bursary

  1. Visit the Application Website: Go to the Delta State Bursary Application Form
  2. Click “Apply Now”: Find and click the “APPLY NOW” button on the website.
  3. Fill Out the Form: Carefully complete the online application form with accurate details.
  4. Make Payment: Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦800 using your debit card to submit your application.
  5. Acknowledge Receipt: After payment, print the acknowledgement card and keep it safe for your records.

  • Application Deadline: You have until Wednesday, 14 May 2025 to submit your application.
  • Application Start Date: Applications open on Tuesday, 15 April 2025.
  • Document Verification: After the application deadline, physical verification of documents will take place.
