The 2024/2025 matriculation ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, 29th March 2025, at 10 AM. The grand event will be held at the University Auditorium, located at the Rumuolumeni Campus.


Key Dates and Deadlines for Fresh Students

Fresh students, take note! Your academic journey officially begins after completing these important steps:

  1. Complete Registration by Friday, 14th March 2025
  • To be part of the ceremony, all fresh students must finalize their registration by Friday, 14th March 2025. Only those who have paid all their fees will receive matriculation numbers.
  • Matriculation Gown Fee: A ₦10,000 fee is required for the gown. This payment must be made online through the official IAUE portal.

  • Note: Students who fail to complete their registration by the deadline will lose admission. Ensure you pay all fees and finalize your registration on time!

How to Collect Your Matriculation Gown

  • Gown Collection begins Friday, 21st March 2025.
  • Faculty Officers will distribute gowns to students from each faculty.
  • Part-time Students: Collect your gown at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), St John’s Diobu Campus.
  • Institute for Distance Learning (IDL) Students: Pick up your gown from the IDL offices.

Don’t Forget: Return Your Gown on Time!

  • Deadline for Gown Return: All gowns must be returned by Friday, 4th April 2025.
  • Late Return Penalty: A fine of ₦2,000 will apply for every day the gown is overdue.

Student Identity Card Processing

  • Once registered and fees are paid, students must visit the ICT Centre to process their student identity cards. This is an important step to complete your official documentation.

Final Notice for Fresh Students

  • Matriculation Day marks the official end of registration for the session. Students who do not complete their registration by the day of the matriculation ceremony will no longer be considered students of the university.
