BUTH is looking to fill the following roles:
- Medical Officer
- Consultant, Haematology and Blood Transfusion
- Consultant, Chemical Pathology and Immunology
- Consultant, Medical Microbiology and Parasitology
- Dental Therapist
Qualifications:
To apply for these roles, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Positions 1 to 4 (Medical Officers & Consultants):
- MB.BS degree, registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
- Proof of full registration with the MDCN
- Completion of NYSC programme (or exemption)
- Current practising licence
- Fellowship of either the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West African College of Physicians/Surgery
- Position 5 (Dental Therapist):
- At least five credits in WASSC or NECO (at no more than two sittings)
- A degree or HND in Dental Therapy from an accredited institution, registrable with the Dental Therapy Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN)
Application Process:
Interested candidates must follow these steps:
- Pay a Non-Refundable Fee: N7,000 at the Cashier’s Counter at Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso.
- Obtain the Application Form: Available at the Human Resources Division of BUTH.
- Submit Your Application: Provide ten copies of the completed application form along with photocopies of your credentials.
- Reference Letters: Submit three reference letters. These must include one from your Pastor and at least one from your training institution. Please note that letters should not come from relatives.
Reference Letter Requirements:
- Letters must be typed on official letterhead, properly dated, and signed.
- They must not come from relatives.
Application Deadline:
All applications must be submitted by January 30, 2025.
