Borno State University Kicks Off NELFUND Registration for Students

Borno State University (BOSU) has officially launched the registration process for NELFUND, a crucial initiative that will support students financially. All eligible students are required to complete their registration by Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the ICT Unit.

Important Deadline: Don’t Miss Out!

The registration must be completed before the second-semester exams conclude. Students who fail to complete the process within this period will not be able to access the benefits provided by NELFUND.

Who Needs to Register?

The following faculties are required to participate in the NELFUND registration:

  • Faculty of Arts and Education
  • Faculty of Agriculture
  • Faculty of Sciences
  • Faculty of Social and Management Sciences
  • Faculty of Health and Allied Medicine

Eligibility Criteria: Is NELFUND for You?

Students who meet the following academic criteria are eligible for NELFUND:

  1. Fresh Entry Students: Must have gained admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
  2. Direct Entry Students: Must have valid JAMB admission into any recognized tertiary institution.
  3. Full-time Undergraduates: Must be enrolled as full-time students and provide a matriculation number.

Required Documents for Registration:

Students must provide the following to successfully register for NELFUND:

  • JAMB Registration Number
  • Bank Verification Number (BVN)
  • National Identity Number (NIN)
  • Personal details (age, gender, phone number, home address, and email)
  • Recent passport photograph
