- School of Engineering
Computer Engineering Technology
Civil Engineering Technology
- At least Lower Credit in ND in Computer or Civil Engineering from an NBTE-accredited institution.
- One year of industrial work experience after ND.
- Candidates with a Pass in ND must show proof of at least two years of industrial work experience.
- School of Environmental Studies
Survey and Geo-Informatics
- Lower Credit in ND in Geo-Informatics, Cartography & GIS, or related fields from an NBTE-accredited institution.
- Minimum one-year industrial work experience after ND.
- Candidates with a Pass in ND must provide evidence of two years of industrial work experience.
How to Apply for HND Admission
To apply, follow these simple steps:
- Visit the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic website.
- Create an account by entering your name and phone number to generate an invoice.
- Take the generated invoice (RRR number) to any commercial bank and pay ₦8,000 (inclusive of bank charges) for the electronic application PIN.
- After payment, log into the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic application portal to complete your application.
- Upload the following documents:
- One-year industrial attachment letter.
- Official ND transcript or statement of result.
- Photocopy of the payment receipt.
