IAUE Schedules 17th Matriculation Ceremony for New Students on 28 February 2026

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has officially announced its 17th matriculation ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session, welcoming new students across multiple programmes. The grand event is scheduled for Saturday, 28 February 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at the University Convocation Arena/Auditorium. Matriculants are expected to assemble by 9:00 AM to ensure a smooth academic procession.

Who Will Participate

The ceremony will formally receive students admitted under the following categories:

  • UTME students
  • Direct Entry (DE) students
  • Part-Time students
  • Affiliate Institution students
  • Institute for Distance Learning (IDL) students

Each group will be integrated into the official matriculation schedule, marking their formal induction into IAUE.

In a message to the incoming class, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Okechuku Onuchukwu, and Registrar, Dr. C.A. Ajie, congratulated the freshmen and warmly welcomed them into the IAUE community.
