AFUSTA Lectures Begin: Registration Deadline Set for January 31, 2026

Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero (AFUSTA), formerly Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero (KSUSTA), has officially commenced lectures for the 2025/2026 academic session. Returning students have been directed to complete their registration on or before January 31, 2026, according to a memo from the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Yakubu Yahaya.

Lectures Across All Faculties
The memo, addressed to Deans and Heads of Departments, confirms that lectures are ongoing across all faculties. Students are expected to attend classes as lecturers will be taking attendance. Compliance with teaching schedules is mandatory.

Registration Deadlines
Returning students must finalize registration by January 31, 2026. Those who miss this main deadline can still register during the late registration window from February 2 to February 6, 2026. Students who fail to complete registration even during the late window may be required to defer their session.

Management Advisory
AFUSTA management emphasized strict compliance with the registration and lecture attendance guidelines to prevent academic setbacks. Students are advised to keep proper records, follow departmental instructions, and adhere to all deadlines.

Memo Signatory
The directives were officially issued and signed by Prof. Yakubu Yahaya, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic).

Students are encouraged to act promptly to avoid disruptions in their academic progress.
