The new biological classification of living organisms only into 5 kingdoms namely monera (bacteria), Protista (protozoa)e.g. Paramecium, protophyta eg chlamydomonas), fungi, plsntae and Animalia. Monerans are prokaryotes ie organisms without definite nucleus. They lack nuclear membrane, nucleolus and nucleoplasm. They have chromosomes which, are moving freely inside the cytoplasm, in order words they have no definite location. The cthei 4 kingdoms mentioned above have members which are eukaryotes i.e they have definite nucleus In animals, the nucleus of each cell is always at the centre while that of plant cell is at the side of the cytoplasm while the centre is occupied by larger vacuole.
