Explanation
Osmoregulation is the removal of excess salt and water from the body of paramecium. ingestion is carried out by the gullet lined with cilia which leads into the body of Paramecium. Locomotion is carried-out by the beating of cilia lining on the pellicle ocelli membrane of the organism. Respiration is carried out by simple diffusion through the entire cell membrane or pellicle which represents the surface area which is larger while the cytoplasm represents the volume which is small.
