University College Hospital Ibadan Opens Applications for 2025 Nurse/Midwife/Public Health Nurse Tutors’ Programme

The University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan has officially announced that applications are now open for the Nurse/Midwife/Public Health Nurse Tutors’ Programme for 2025. This program offers a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Education (PGDNE), aimed at strengthening the skills of nursing professionals for a career in teaching and healthcare education.

Who Can Apply?

The programme is open to:

  • Individuals interested in advancing their nursing careers.
  • Ministries of Health, training hospitals, and government agencies looking to support their staff.
  • Self-sponsored candidates are also welcome to apply.

Admission Requirements

To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

  • WASSCE or GCE O-Level with five credits in one sitting or six credits in two sittings.
  • Required subjects include English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

Professional Qualifications and Experience:

  • Applicants must be registered Nurses with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
  • A first degree in Nursing is required.
  • A valid practicing license from the NMCN is essential.
  • A minimum of two years of post-qualification experience will be an advantage.

  2. Sign up as a new applicant and provide your personal details.
  3. Enter the displayed code in the required field.
  4. Check your email for login details.
  5. Log in with the username and password provided.
  6. Choose the “Faculty of Clinical Science”, then select “Department of Nursing” and “PGDNE Programme”.
  7. Generate an invoice and pay the application fee of ₦18,000 via MasterCard.
