UNIMAID Publishes 2023/2024 Admission List
The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has released the much-anticipated admission list for the 2023/2024 academic session on its official website.
Thousands of candidates who applied for admission into the university’s undergraduate programs and participated in the post-UTME screening exercise can now verify their admission status.
To access the list, candidates need to visit UNIMAID’s website (www.unimaid.edu.ng), navigate to the admissions portal, and log in with their JAMB registration numbers.
Successful applicants will have their names, and courses admitted into, as well as other vital information regarding acceptance of admission, payment of acceptance fees, and resumption details displayed on the portal.
The admission exercise saw UNIMAID receiving over 30,000 applications for the limited 6,000 slots available across various faculties and departments for the new academic session.
In a statement, the university management congratulated all admitted candidates and provided guidance on the next steps while encouraging those not admitted to explore other opportunities or apply again in future admission cycles.
As one of Nigeria’s foremost universities, admission into UNIMAID remains highly competitive, with only candidates who excelled in both the UTME and post-UTME screening exams being offered provisional admission.
The institution has reiterated its commitment to a transparent and merit-driven admission process in strict compliance with guidelines set by regulatory bodies in the education sector.
Dedicated admissions help desks have been set up on campus and online to attend to inquiries from candidates, parents, and other stakeholders regarding the admission process and exercise.
Successful candidates are expected to complete all necessary registration procedures ahead of the formal resumption of academic activities for the 2023/2024 session billed for October.
