Ilorin, Nigeria – The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has unveiled an innovative automated system to streamline the final year clearance process, making it easier and less stressful for graduating students.

This exciting update allows students to complete their clearance online, paving the way for a smoother transition into the next chapter of their academic and professional journeys.

How to Complete Your Online Clearance: A Step-by-Step Guide

Ready to get started? Follow these simple steps to complete your clearance online:

1. Log In to the Student Portal
   Visit the  UNILORIN student portal and enter your matric number and password to log in.
2. Find the Clearance Section
   Once you’re logged in, look for the “Clearance” tab in the navigation bar and click on it.
3. Upload Your Alumni Receipt
   Make sure you’ve paid your alumni fee. Follow the prompts to upload a PDF copy of your receipt.
4. Monitor Clearance Officers’ Progress
   After your upload, you’ll see a list of clearance officers with statuses showing as “Pending.”
5. Check Your Clearance Status
   As each officer processes your request, their status will change to “Cleared.”
6. Print Your Clearance Certificate
   Once all officers have approved your records, you can print your clearance certificate.

Completing this clearance is crucial for obtaining your Statement of Results, preparing for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilization, and participating in Convocation Ceremonies.
