UNILAG Extends Post-UTME Registration: New Deadline, Requirements, and What You Must Know

In a crucial lifeline to thousands of UTME candidates, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has extended its Post-UTME registration deadline for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Originally slated to close on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the registration portal will now remain open until Saturday, August 23, 2025 — giving candidates three extra days to complete their applications.

“This extension is final. No further grace will be granted,” the university warned in a public statement.

For many, this short window could be the difference between securing a shot at admission or missing out entirely.

To be considered for UNILAG’s Post-UTME screening, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • First Choice: UNILAG must be your first choice institution in the 2025 UTME.
