Entry Requirements: Who Can Apply?
To qualify for the Post Registered Nursing Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age: You must be at least 18 years old.
- Academic Qualifications: You need five credit passes in WASCE, GCE, or NECO, including English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry (not exceeding two sittings).
- Nursing Qualifications: You must hold a Registered Midwifery (RM) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) certificate.
- Experience: A minimum of one year’s post-registration nursing experience is required.
- Supporting Documents:
- Reference letter from your current or previous employer.
- A valid practicing license.

- Visit the UBTH College of Nursing Portal: Forms are available for download.
- Pay the Application Fee: ₦15,000 (non-refundable), via UBTH Treasury Single Account (TSA) on Remita. Select “Training School – Department of Nursing, College of Nursing Sciences.”
- Make Additional Payment: A fee of ₦500 must be paid to the Nursing and Midwifery Council Committee, Edo State. Payment should be made to the account below:
