SAZU Announces Physical Screening Dates for 2025/2026 Admission — Here’s Everything You Need to Know

For many students, the long wait for admission into Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Gadau, formerly known as Bauchi State University, Gadau (BASUG), has finally come to an end. The third batch of admitted students will undergo physical screening from Monday, October 20, 2025, to Friday, October 24, 2025. The screening will take place at the specific campuses where each programme is offered.

First and Second Batch Candidates:
Candidates from the first and second batches will be screened between Monday, September 8, 2025, and Monday, September 22, 2025. Like others, they must report to the campus that hosts their department or faculty.

Documents Required for SAZU Physical Screening

Candidates are advised to come prepared with all necessary documents, as officials will thoroughly verify each item. Bring the following:

• Printed copy of your O’Level (SSCE) result
• JAMB Result Slip
• Online screening form (earlier submitted during online screening)
• One recent passport photograph
• A valid WAEC or NECO scratch card for result verification

Ensure that your O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB portal before the screening. If not, visit a JAMB-accredited centre immediately to complete this step — otherwise, your screening will be considered incomplete.

Once your documents are verified and approved, follow these steps to finalize your admission:

1. Wait a few days for the university to update your status.
2. Log in to your JAMB CAPS portal.
3. Accept your admission (if you haven’t already).
4. Print your JAMB Admission Letter for record purposes.

Failure to accept your admission on JAMB CAPS means your SAZU student portal will remain inaccessible, and your admission will not be validated.
