Ruth Titilayo Foundation Launches 2025 Vocational Scholarship for Nigerian Students
The Ruth Titilayo Foundation has officially opened applications for its 2025 Technical & Vocational Scholarship, a grant program designed to support Nigerian students pursuing skills-based education at approved Vocational Enterprise Institutions (VEIs) under the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
The initiative is part of the foundation’s mission to empower young Nigerians through technical and vocational training, equipping them with practical skills for the future of work.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for the Ruth Titilayo Foundation Vocational Scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold a secondary school result with at least four credits.
- Be a current student or have been enrolled in a VEI within the last two years.
What the Scholarship Covers
Successful applicants will receive:
- Tuition allowance of up to ₦100,000.
- Maintenance allowance of up to ₦15,000.
- Additional allowances (such as fieldwork or travel expenses) at the committee’s discretion.
Application & Selection Process
Candidates will be assessed based on academic merit and personal statements. Required documents include:
- A personal statement.
- Current school results.
- Two written references from tutors listed in the application.
Shortlisted candidates will also be invited to an online interview, featuring competency-based questions tailored to their level of study.
