- Date: Tuesday, 7th January 2025
- Time: 11:00 AM
- Venue: OGD Hall, Main Campus
- Attendance: All new students are expected to be present.
Academic Gown Collection:
In preparation for the ceremony, new students are required to collect their academic gowns. Here’s everything you need to know about the process:
- Collection Date: Friday, 3rd January 2025
- Payment: Students must pay a fee of ₦2,500 online and obtain a receipt.
- Collection Point: Gowns will be distributed by Faculty Officers at the Directorate of Students’ Affairs.
- Collection Location: Students will pick up their gowns at their respective faculties.
Returning Academic Gowns:
After the Matriculation Ceremony, students must ensure their academic gowns are returned on time. The return process is as follows:
- Deadline: Gowns must be returned by Thursday, 9th January 2025.
- Return to: Directorate of Students’ Affairs.
- Required Documents: Faculties are to submit the following:
- A list of all students who collected gowns.
- Original receipts as proof of payment.
- All academic gowns issued to students.
Penalty for Late Returns:
It’s crucial to adhere to the gown return deadline. A late return will incur a penalty of ₦6,000 per day.
