MAPOLY Announces 2024/2025 Academic Session Resumption Date: All You Need to Know
Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) has officially set the resumption date for the 2024/2025 academic session, with a host of key dates and deadlines for both new and returning students.
In a recent meeting, the Academic Board confirmed that the first semester will begin on Monday, 2 December 2024. Here’s everything you need to know to kickstart the new academic year smoothly.
Important Registration Dates:
- First Semester Registration Opens: Monday, 2 December 2024
All students, including those pursuing National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND), are required to begin their registration on this date. - Registration Closes: Friday, 27 December 2024
Students must complete their registration before the deadline. Newly admitted students must accept their provisional offers by Friday, 5 December 2024 to secure their admission.
Note: Failure to complete the registration process by the deadline could result in loss of admission.
Key Academic Dates to Remember:
- SIWES Students: Online lectures will be available through approved platforms starting Monday, 2 December 2024.
- On-Campus Lectures: For all other students, on-campus lectures begin on Monday, 16 December 2024.
- Mid-Semester Tests: Mark your calendars! The mid-semester tests are scheduled to take place from Monday, 24 February to Saturday, 1 March 2025.
- Matriculation Ceremony: Fresh students will participate in the official matriculation and oath-taking ceremony on Wednesday, 3 April 2025.
