LASU Opens 2025 JUPEB Admission: Direct Entry to 200 Level Made Easy
Lagos State University (LASU) has officially announced admissions for its School of Basic and Advanced Studies (LASUSBAS) JUPEB programme for the 2025 academic session. Beginning September 2025, the LASUSBAS campus in Topo, Badagry, will welcome fresh candidates aiming to fast-track their way into 200 level at LASU and other JUPEB-affiliated universities across Nigeria.
This one-year intensive academic programme is designed for focused candidates who want to bypass the traditional 100-level entry and secure direct admission into their preferred degree programmes.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- O’Level Credits: At least five credits, including English Language.
- Compulsory Mathematics Credit for applicants seeking admission into Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacology, Agriculture, Sciences, Education, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, or Engineering.
- Awaiting results will not be accepted.
- The names on NIN, birth certificate, and O’Level results must match exactly.
Qualified applicants will be invited for a qualifying examination. On the exam day, candidates must bring:
- NIN slip
- Birth certificate
- O’Level result
- One passport photograph

Progression to 200 Level
To secure direct entry into 200 level at LASU or other JUPEB partner universities, candidates must:
- Pass the JUPEB final examination.
- Purchase and complete the JAMB Direct Entry form.
- Meet the departmental performance requirements.
Candidates who do not meet the pass mark may choose to repeat the programme (with full payment of fees) or withdraw — note that no refunds will be issued.
Application Process
- Application Fee: ₦50,000 (non-refundable) payable through the LASU application portal.
- Fill and submit the online form before Friday, 19 September 2025.
- Qualifying Exam: Saturday, 20 September 2025, at 11:00 am, LASUSBAS Campus, Topo Road, Badagry.
- Lectures commence immediately after the exams.
