KASU Announces Mandatory Physical Screening for 2025/2026 Admission Candidates — Full Guidelines Released
Kaduna State University (KASU) has issued an important update for candidates who have received provisional admission offers through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The university has rolled out a compulsory physical screening and document verification exercise, urging all admitted candidates to prepare ahead and strictly follow the timeline.
Screening Dates and Venue
KASU confirmed that the physical screening exercise will run:
Tuesday, December 9 – Friday, December 19, 2025
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily
Venue: 1000-Seat Auditorium, KASU Main Campus, Tafawa Balewa Way, Kaduna.
All candidates are required to appear within the scheduled period. The institution emphasized that failure to report for screening within the given dates may affect admission confirmation.
Mandatory Online Step Before Screening
Before reporting physically, candidates must update their profiles on the SAFapply Post-UTME portal.
How to Complete the Online Update
- Visit applicant.safapply.com/kasu and sign in.
- Open your dashboard and click “Edit Application.”
- Navigate to the Document Upload section.
- Upload your JAMB Admission Letter.
- Click Preview and Submit, then hit Submit to save.
- Print your Post-UTME Registration Acknowledgement Slip — this MUST be presented at the screening venue.
Documents Required for Physical Screening
Candidates must come with originals and two photocopies of the following documents:
- JAMB Admission Letter (from JAMB CAPS)
- JAMB Original Result Slip
- O’Level result (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, etc.)
- Valid scratch card for the O’Level examination used
- Two printed copies of the online O’Level result from the exam body’s portal
- Birth Certificate or Sworn Age Declaration
- Primary School Leaving Certificate
- Local Government or State of Origin Certificate
- Post-UTME Registration Acknowledgement Slip
- National Identification Number (NIN) Slip
KASU stressed the importance of completeness, noting that missing documents may delay or hinder the verification process.
