Kano State Polytechnic Admission Process: A Step-by-Step Guide for New Students
The journey to becoming a student at Kano State Polytechnic begins with completing the admission registration process. Step 1: Accept Your Admission

Step 2: Pay Initial Fees
Before you can print your admission letter, make sure to pay the following fees:
- Admission Acceptance Fee: N5,000
- Student Handbook: N2,000
Step 3: JAMB Admission Letter
Log in to your JAMB account, accept your offer, and print the JAMB Admission Letter.
Step 4: Screening and Verification
Visit your department for screening. Then, head to the S.E.S. & SORTED section at the Central Administration to have your admission letter signed and stamped.
Step 5: Collect Customised Tellers
Go to the Unit Accountant Office to receive tellers for the following payments:
- Departmental Registration: N1,000
- School Registration: N2,000
- Clinic Registration: N2,000
- Union Dues: N1,200
Step 6: Make Payments
Take the tellers to Microfinance Bank and make the necessary payments.
Step 7: Submit Tellers
Submit your payment tellers at the Old Admin Block, School of Management Studies, to collect your official receipt.
Step 8: Central Registration
Visit the M.I.S. staff at your school, except for S.E.S. & SORTED in the School of Management Studies. Provide photocopies of the following documents:
- Screened Polytechnic Admission Letter
- JAMB Admission Letter (for ND students)
- Official Receipts
Step 9: Print Central Registration Documents
Log in to your account and:
- Pay the Central Registration Fee
- Print your receipt
- Print your Course Registration Form (CRF)
- Print your Student Examination Card
Step 10: Library Registration
Make sure to visit the library and complete your registration there.
Step 11: Payment Authentication
Go to the Bursary Department at the Central Administration for payment authentication.
Step 12: Medical Screening
Head to the clinic for your mandatory medical screening.
Step 13: ID Card Payment
