GSU Gives Fresh Students a December 8 Deadline — “Accept Your Admission Now or Lose It”
In a new directive that affects all newly admitted students, Gombe State University (GSU) has issued a firm deadline for the acceptance and printing of JAMB and GSU admission letters. The university warns that failure to act promptly will lead to immediate forfeiture of the admission offer.
According to an internal memo released by the Office of the Registrar and dated December 3, 2025, all fresh students offered provisional admission into various degree programmes must accept and print their admission letters on or before Monday, December 8, 2025.
The memo clearly states that any pending or unaccepted admission after the deadline will no longer stand.
Support Available for Students Facing Technical Issues
GSU has also put support measures in place for students encountering challenges while accepting their admission online. The memo explains that students can visit the Academic Office for assistance.
Support Schedule:
- Date: Wednesday, December 3 – Monday, December 8, 2025
- Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. daily
- Venue: Academic Office, GSU
During this period, staff will help students complete the acceptance process, print letters, and begin early registration steps.
University Reiterates Consequences of Missing the Deadline
Signed by Musa Sarki, Academic Secretary (for the Registrar), the announcement emphasizes that missing the deadline means the admission offer is automatically withdrawn.
GSU urges all newly admitted candidates to act immediately to secure their spots in the 2025/2026 academic session.
