FUET Releases Clearance & ID Card Payment Details as Student Clearance Begins Tomorrow

The Federal University of Environment and Technology (FUET), Saakpenwa/Koroma, has issued official payment instructions for student clearance and ID card processing as physical clearance begins tomorrow morning by 10:00 a.m.

In a notice to students, the university made one thing clear: pay first, then come for clearance — and come with all original documents. Any missing paper, the school warned, could delay a student’s clearance.

Where to pay your FUET clearance and ID card fees

All students are required to pay their clearance and ID card charges into the official university account below:

Account Name:
Federal University of Environment and Technology, Saakpenwa/Koroma, Tai LGA, Rivers State

Bank: PremiumTrust Bank
Account Number: 0080060646

The university emphasized that this is the only approved account for these payments.

According to the notice, students are to pay the following fees:

  • Clearance fee: ₦5,000
  • ID card fee: ₦2,000
  • Total payable: ₦7,000

Students are advised to ensure the full ₦7,000 is paid before coming for clearance.

Documents you must bring for FUET clearance

FUET has directed all students to present original copies of the following documents during clearance:

  • O’Level result(s)
  • JAMB result slip and JAMB admission letter (both institution and candidate copies)
  • Birth certificate or declaration of age
  • Local Government Identification Letter

Photocopies alone will not be accepted. The university insists that original documents are mandatory for verification.

When FUET clearance begins

Student clearance officially begins:

From: Tomorrow morning
Time: 10:00 a.m. daily

Students are advised to complete payment first and arrange all documents before coming. Those who arrive unprepared may have their clearance delayed.

What this means for FUET students

With clearance now starting, students are urged to act quickly, pay into the correct bank account, and appear with complete documentation. FUET says the process will only move forward when all payment and document requirements are met.

For students eager to begin their academic journey at FUET, tomorrow’s 10 a.m. start marks the first official step.
