BREAKING: Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) Announces Indefinite Closure Amid Student Protest

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has announced the indefinite closure of the institution, effective from Monday, January 13, 2025. The closure follows a protest by some students over a new directive requiring the verification of National Diploma (ND) results from their previous schools.

In an official statement, the management explained that the decision was made in light of the unrest caused by the verification process, which aims to uphold the institution’s commitment to academic integrity. MAPOLY emphasized its zero tolerance for fake results and the need to maintain high educational standards.

The institution also urged all students to stay off-campus for their safety and the protection of lives and property during this period. The management assured parents, students, and the general public that updates will be provided promptly as the situation develops.

Students and concerned parties are encouraged to check the official MAPOLY website or contact the management directly for further information.
