BMU to Hold 7th Matriculation Ceremony for 2025/2026 Session on February 7

Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) has officially announced the date for its 7th Matriculation Ceremony, marking the formal admission of newly enrolled undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., at the BMU Rooftop Auditorium, located along Imgbi Road, Amarata, Yenagoa. University authorities have emphasized that all guests must be seated by 9:30 a.m. prompt to ensure a smooth and orderly programme.

A formal welcome into the BMU community

Matriculation is the official entry point for fresh undergraduates into Bayelsa Medical University. During the event, new students will take the matriculation oath, a compulsory rite that formally confers on them the full rights, responsibilities, and privileges of BMU students.
