Accepting Your Admission on JAMB CAPS
All admitted candidates must confirm and accept their admission on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) CAPS portal.
To do this:
- Log in to your JAMB CAPS profile.
- Click Accept Admission.
- Print your JAMB Admission Letter, which will be required for screening and clearance.
Payment of Acceptance Fee Begins December 1
After accepting the offer on JAMB CAPS, candidates are to proceed to the polytechnic portal to pay the mandatory, non-refundable ₦15,000 acceptance fee.
Payment guidelines:
- Visit the official Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic portal.
- Generate a Remita invoice for the acceptance fee.
- Pay using only approved payment channels displayed on the portal.

Screening and Departmental Registration
Once payment is completed, candidates must report to their respective departments for screening and further registration.
Documents required include:
- Original JAMB Admission Letter
- Original credentials and photocopies
- Remita acceptance fee invoice

The institution issued a strong caution to protect students from fraud:
- Do not give money to anyone, including relatives, to “assist” with admission or registration.
