ABU Post-UTME & Direct Entry 2025 Registration Begins

If Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria is your first choice and you’re eyeing admission in 2025, the race just started—and time is ticking fast.

ABU has officially opened its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. Whether you sat for UTME or applied through Direct Entry, this guide breaks down everything you need to know, step by step.

Who’s Eligible to Apply?

ABU is strict about its first-choice-only policy. If you didn’t choose ABU as your top pick in JAMB, this isn’t your stop.

Here’s who can apply:

  • UTME candidates who scored 180 or above
  • Candidates with valid Direct Entry (DE) credentials

If you don’t meet these requirements, the portal won’t accept your application. No shortcuts, no exceptions.

Registration Period & Fee

  • Starts: Monday, 4th August 2025
  • Ends: Thursday, 21st August 2025
  • Platform: ABU Screening Portal
  • Fee: ₦2,000 only

Payment options:
Pay online using your ATM card or print your slip and pay at any commercial bank. No need to travel to Zaria—it’s 100% online.

Important: Check Your JAMB Subject Combination

Before submitting your form, ensure your UTME subject combination matches your chosen course. If not, update it on the JAMB Portal before registering.
