AKISAN USA Opens 2025/2026 Scholarship to Support Akwa Ibom Students in the U.S. and Nigeria
The Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria, USA, Inc. (AKISAN USA) has officially opened applications for its 2025/2026 scholarship programme, offering financial relief and academic motivation to Akwa Ibom students living in the United States and Nigeria.
The annual initiative—one of the association’s most impactful community programmes—aims to ease financial pressure, reward academic excellence, and strengthen ties between Akwa Ibom indigenes at home and abroad.
A Lifeline for Students in Two Countries
For many students, the scholarship provides more than money—it offers encouragement, stability, and a reminder that their hard work matters. With rising education costs in both nations, the programme helps students stay focused, stay in school, and stay confident.
The 2025/2026 application window closes January 31, 2026, and all submissions must be made online via the official AKISAN USA website.
Why AKISAN USA Gives This Scholarship
AKISAN USA, a long-standing umbrella body for Akwa Ibom indigenes in the United States, continues to support youth development as part of its mission to build a strong, educated, and globally connected community.
By investing in students, the association hopes to produce skilled graduates who will contribute to Akwa Ibom’s development across fields such as healthcare, education, science, technology, arts, and business.
