UNIBEN Extends Admission Deadline for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has officially extended the deadline for candidates offered provisional admission for the 2025/2026 academic session. Originally set for 10 November 2025, the new deadline for completing acceptance and paying required fees is 17 November 2025.
All newly admitted students are urged to act promptly by logging in to the official UNIBEN portal to complete the acceptance and clearance process.
Step-by-Step Guide to UNIBEN Acceptance and Clearance
- Visit the UNIBEN portaland open the Login Menu.
- Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as User ID and your password.
- Enter a valid personal email address to receive your Student ID and a new password.
- Check your email, retrieve your Student ID and new password, then return to the portal to log in again.
- Use your new login details to access the Student Portal.
- Click the Academics menu, then select Clearance.
- To pay your acceptance fee, use the Bank Transfer option via REMITA (note: bank debit cards are currently non-functional for this payment).
- After payment, log out and log back in to refresh your payment status.
- Complete the Clearance Form accurately and submit it for approval.
