LASUTH Launches Admission for 2025/2026 School of Anaesthetic Technology Programme
The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, has officially opened applications for the fourth set of students to its School of Anaesthetic Technology for the 2025/2026 academic session. The programme aims to train skilled Anaesthetic Technicians who will support healthcare delivery across Nigeria.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be aged between 18 and 30 years.
- Possess five O’level credits in WASC, NECO, or SSCE, obtained in no more than two sittings.
- Have English Language and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Hold credits in at least two of the following sciences: Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
Course Duration and Certification
The LASUTH Anaesthetic Technology training programme runs for three years. Upon successful completion, graduates will be awarded a certificate in Anaesthetic Technology, qualifying them to work professionally as Anaesthetic Technicians in hospitals and other healthcare settings.
Application Process
Interested candidates should:
- Obtain application forms from the Department of Anaesthesia, located at the Old Administrative Building, LASUTH, Ikeja.
- Submit completed forms with:
- Photocopies of academic credentials
- A Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Two recent passport-sized photographs
All submissions must be made at the same location where forms were collected.
Admission Procedures
- Shortlisted candidates will write a written examination at LASUTH, Ikeja.
- Those who meet the required standards will be invited for an interview.
- Final admission depends on successful performance in both stages.
Closing Date
The sale and submission of application forms will close four weeks from the date of this announcement. Prospective applicants are advised to apply early to avoid delays.
