4. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Energy Economics
General Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the UNIABUJA postgraduate programmes, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possess five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- PhD applicants: Must hold a Master’s degree in Petroleum or Energy Economics or an equivalent qualification.
- Master’s applicants: Should possess a Bachelor’s degree (minimum of Second Class Lower) or a PGD in Petroleum or Energy Economics.
- PGD applicants: Must have at least a Third Class Bachelor’s degree or HND (Lower Credit) in a relevant field.
- All applicants are required to provide their NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter.
Programme Duration
Doctorate Degrees:
- Full-Time: Minimum of 36 months
- Part-Time: Minimum of 42 months
Master’s Degrees:
- Full-Time: 3–6 semesters
- Part-Time: 6–8 semesters
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):
- Full-Time: 2–4 semesters
- Part-Time: 4–6 semesters
