Entry Requirements

General Requirements

  • O’Level: Five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in WASC, NECO, or GCE — obtained in no more than two sittings.
  • For Master’s (MSc, MA, MEd, MEng, etc.): Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second-Class Lower division.
  • For PhD: Master’s degree with a minimum weighted average of 60% (Grade B) and a 500-word research proposal.
  • For PGD: Third-Class degree or HND with Lower Credit.

Programme-Specific Requirements

  • MPH in Community Medicine: MBBS or BDS qualification.
  • MPH in Sexual and Reproductive Health: Accepts degrees in health-related fields.

How to Apply for UNIABUJA Postgraduate Admission

  1. Visit the UNIABUJA application portal.
  2. Select Postgraduate and provide your surname, first name, email, and phone number.
  3. Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and pay the ₦20,500 application fee via REMITA.
  4. Return to the portal to complete the application form.
  5. Upload all required documents, including the Transcript Request Form (Form A2) available on the portal.
  6. Ensure all payments and document uploads are done through the university portal to maintain accurate records.
  7. Attach proof that Form A2 has been processed before final submission.
