OSPOLY Iree Sets Final Deadline for 2025/2026 Acceptance Fee Payment — Defaulters Risk Losing Admission

The management of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has officially announced Wednesday, November 12, 2025, as the final deadline for all newly admitted students of the 2025/2026 academic session to pay their acceptance fee.

According to the institution’s management, several students have accepted their admission offers on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) but have yet to complete their admission process by paying the mandatory acceptance fee.

The polytechnic clarified that accepting an offer on JAMB CAPS alone does not guarantee full admission status until candidates make the acceptance fee payment and undergo verification.

Screening and Verification Process

All newly admitted students are required to:

  • Pay their acceptance fee before the deadline, and
  • Report to the Admissions Office and their respective faculties for screening and document verification.

The management warned that failure to pay the acceptance fee on or before November 12, 2025, will result in automatic forfeiture of admission. Such slots will be reassigned to qualified candidates on the waiting list.

Support Through NELFUND Student Loans

In a bid to reduce financial hardship, OSPOLY management encouraged students to take advantage of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). The loan scheme, according to the school, is designed to assist students from low-income families in financing their tuition and other academic expenses.

The institution reaffirmed its commitment to supporting students through initiatives that promote equitable access to education and reduce dropout risks due to financial constraints.

Management’s Advisory

The management of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY) advised all new students to comply strictly with the deadline and complete all registration steps promptly. Timely payment and documentation are vital to securing their admission and avoiding unnecessary complications that could affect enrolment.

Students were also reminded to use official communication channels and avoid third-party agents when making payments or completing any part of the registration process.

Closing Note

OSPOLY reiterated its dedication to maintaining transparent academic processes and ensuring a smooth transition for newly admitted students. The institution encouraged all candidates to act swiftly, utilize the available financial support options, and embrace this new academic chapter with seriousness and diligence.

“At OSPOLY, we remain committed to ensuring fairness, transparency, and academic excellence,” the management stated.
