The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has officially opened its recruitment portal for the 2025 academic and non-teaching staff employment exercise. Qualifications and Salary Structure
Each academic rank comes with its own requirements and salary range under the CONUASS/CONMESS structure:

- Senior Lecturer: ₦4.7M – ₦6.6M annually
- Lecturer I: ₦3.5M – ₦5.7M annually
- Lecturer II: ₦2.8M – ₦4.4M annually
- Assistant Lecturer: ₦2.5M – ₦3.0M annually
Minimum Requirements:
- A good first degree in the relevant field.
- Master’s or Ph.D. depending on the applied rank.
- Computer literacy is mandatory for all roles.
- Registration with professional bodies where applicable (e.g., ARCON, NIS, SURCON).
Other Employment Conditions
- Appointments are initially on probation and may be confirmed after two years of satisfactory service.
- All academic and senior staff (CONTISS 06 – CONTISS 12) must be computer literate.
- The positions are pensionable in accordance with public service regulations.
