2025 SOWEF Essay Competition Opens for Nigerian Students — Over ₦500,000 in Prizes and JAMB Sponsorships Up for Grabs

The Soaring Within Empowerment Foundation (SOWEF) has officially announced the 2025 SOWEF Essay Competition, inviting Senior Secondary School Three (SS3) students across Nigeria to showcase their ideas, creativity, and writing skills.

This year’s theme, “The Role of Education in Nigeria and the Emerging Influence of Social Media on Its Future,” encourages young Nigerians to explore how learning and digital platforms are shaping the nation’s educational landscape.

The initiative is designed not just to reward excellence, but also to spark critical conversations among youth about the evolving role of education in a technology-driven era.


Who Can Apply

The competition is open exclusively to SS3 students in Nigeria. Participants are required to submit an original, well-researched essay not exceeding 1,000 words. Essays should demonstrate clear understanding, creativity, and critical analysis of the topic.
