Summit University Announces Full-time Postgraduate Admission for 2024/2025 Academic Session

Summit University, located in Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria, has officially opened applications for its full-time Postgraduate programs for the 2024/2025 academic year. The university, known for its commitment to academic excellence and innovative research, invites qualified candidates to apply for various Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Master’s, and Doctoral programs across multiple disciplines.

Programs Offered

The university offers a wide range of Postgraduate programs in the following faculties:

1. Faculty of Humanities, Management and Social Sciences

Admission Requirements

General requirements for admission into Postgraduate programs at Summit University include:

1. For PGD Programs:
   • A bachelor’s degree with at least a third class from a recognized university
   • HND with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized polytechnic
2. For Master’s Programs:
   • A bachelor’s degree with at least a second class lower division from a recognized university
   • A PGD with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 5-point scale for candidates with HND
3. For Doctoral Programs:
   • A master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale from a recognized university

Application Process

To apply for admission, follow these steps:

1. Visit the Summit University official website (www.summituniversity.edu.ng)
2. Click on the “Postgraduate Admissions” link
3. Create an account and obtain an application PIN by paying the non-refundable application fee
4. Complete the online application form
5. Upload all required documents, including:
   • Academic certificates and transcripts
   • Birth certificate or declaration of age
   • Letter of recommendation
   • Research proposal (for Ph.D. applicants)
6. Submit the completed application

Application Deadline

The deadline for submission of applications is October 31, 2024. Late applications may not be considered.

Entrance Examination and Interview
