UNN Opens 2025/2026 Change of Course (Shopping) Portal
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially announced the commencement of its Shopping/Change of Course exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This opportunity gives candidates who selected UNN as their first-choice institution in the 2025/2026 UTME but were not offered admission a second chance to apply for available slots in various faculties.
Who Can Apply
According to the university, only candidates who:
- Scored at least 160 in both UTME and Post-UTME, and
- Have an average score of not less than 160,
will be eligible to apply for the shopping/change of course process.
Applicants must also have sat for the appropriate UTME subject combination for their desired courses.

How to Apply for UNN Shopping/Change of Course
Eligible candidates are to complete their applications through the official UNN portal by following these steps:
- Visit UNN Portal.
- Log in using your JAMB Registration Number to generate a payment invoice with a Remita number.
- Pay ₦10,000 (Advert/Shopping Processing Fee) at any commercial bank using the Remita number.
- Obtain a confirmation slip containing your Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.
- Return to the portal and complete the Change of Course Form using your JAMB and invoice details.
Application Period:
- Opening Date: Monday, 20th October 2025
- Closing Date: Friday, 24th October 2025
Important Notes
- Candidates must meet the departmental entry requirements of their chosen courses.
- Applicants who gain admission through this process cannot change courses again during the 2025/2026 academic session.
