The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has officially opened its online hostel application portal for the 2025/2026 academic session, inviting both new and returning students to apply for on-campus accommodation.
According to an internal circular from the Student Affairs Division, dated October 17, 2025, and signed by Offonmbuk M. Ekwere, Principal Assistant Registrar (Accommodation Officer), the hostel portal will be accessible to students starting Sunday, October 19, 2025.
How to Apply for UNIUYO Hostel Accommodation
Students are to follow the official steps below to successfully apply for a hostel space via the UNIUYO Hostel Portal:
- Visit the Official Hostel Portal
Go to the official UNIUYO Hostel Portal to begin your application. - Create an Account
Click on “Register” and provide your correct personal and academic details. Ensure your profile photo is clear and properly uploaded. - Log in to Your Dashboard
After registration, log in to your portal dashboard and select “Apply for Hostel.” - Choose Your Preferred Hostel Type
- Regular Hostels: All halls except NEEDS Hall I and New NDDC.
- Executive Hostels: NEEDS Hall I, New NDDC, and NDDC Medical Hostel.
- Await Allocation and Payment Instructions
Once your space is allocated, an email notification will be sent to you. Follow the instructions provided to make payment for your allocated bed space. - Complete Documentation
After payment, proceed to the hostel office for documentation and confirmation.
