JAMB Extends 2024 Direct Entry Registration Deadline to June 17th
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced an extension to the registration deadline for the 2024 Direct Entry (DE) admissions. Candidates seeking admission through the Direct Entry route now have until Saturday, June 17th, 2024, to complete their registration process.
The decision to extend the registration deadline comes as a response to the appeals and concerns raised by prospective candidates who faced challenges in meeting the initial deadline. JAMB, in its commitment to providing equal opportunities and ensuring that no candidate is left behind, has taken this step to accommodate more applicants.
The Direct Entry admission route is designed for candidates who have obtained a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or a bachelor’s degree and wish to further their education in a related field. It offers an alternative pathway to tertiary education apart from the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
