UNILORIN Begins 2025/2026 Hostel Accommodation Allocation — Key Dates and Guidelines
The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has officially announced the commencement of its hostel accommodation allocation for the 2025/2026 academic session. The exercise, according to the institution, will be conducted strictly online via the students’ portal.
In a bulletin released on Monday, September 29, 2025, and signed by the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Alex Akanmu, the university outlined the schedule for both returning and newly admitted students.
Allocation Schedule
- Returning students: Friday, October 3, 2025
- Fresh students: Tuesday, October 7, 2025
The management also reminded students that all university charges must be fully paid before they can access the hostel allocation platform.
Important Guidelines for Students
- Bed spaces are not transferable.
- Students are strictly warned against selling allocated spaces.
- Failure to comply with the rules may attract serious penalties.
The University of Ilorin emphasized that the guidelines are in place to ensure fairness and transparency in the allocation process. Students are, therefore, strongly advised to follow the instructions carefully to avoid complications.
